About Me…
My name is Anna. I have been doing accounting and taxes for about 18 years. I am an enrolled agent with the IRS. An enrolled agent is federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the US Department of Treasury.
Before I came into the accounting world, my husband I and I ran a small business. This is where I learned a lot about what not to do. Long story short, we decided for our family’s health we gave up the small business, and I got what was supposed to be a part-time, temporary job in an accounting office. That was back in 2002. A lifetime ago. Nearly 18 years later, I am starting my own practice. Like so many people, 2020 has completely changed my life.
Starting my own practice and blog has been on my mind for several years now. One of my passions is to help people and small businesses not only survive but flourish. Knowing what not to do, is just as important as knowing what to do.
